Using Google Analytics to track plays

    I would like to use Google Analytics (GA4) to track the number of plays each of the videos gets.

    I’ve tried tracking the clicks to the links that your plugin creates but that doesn’t seem to work.

    Do you have any ideas on how the number of plays could be tracked?

    I’ve tried tracking the clicks to the links that your plugin creates but that doesn’t seem to work.

    Have you tried tracking the visits to the page or post where the videos are instead of the clicks?

    Hi, thanks for getting back to me

    The videos are on a single page with a pop up where they play so tracking the number of visits to the page won’t work in this case. I was hoping to track the clicks on the video links themselves

    Unfortunately there is no option in our plugin to achieve this for you. If you find a way to achieve your goal, please share it here to help others trying to achieve the same goal as you.
