Using get_option in customizer allowed ?

  • Hi there, I’d really appreciate if anyone can answer. is it mandatory for a theme submitting to www.remarpro.com theme directory to use get_theme_mod ? can I use “get_option” in all my customization setting instead of theme mod ?
