Using full site editor is not the same as building a regular page – what to use?
-
Hi,
I hope this message finds you well. I am currently using the Twenty Twenty-Three theme in WordPress and have utilized the Full Site Editor to create my website. While I can see the changes when I visit my webpage, I have encountered some challenges regarding the homepage and SEO optimization. I am seeking guidance on the best approach to work with the Twenty Twenty-Three theme and the Full Site Editor.Description of the Issue:
- Home Page Dilemma: After using the Full Site Editor to create my homepage, I noticed that it does not behave like a regular WordPress page. Consequently, I am unable to set it as my static homepage through the Reading Settings.
- Yoast SEO Compatibility: Additionally, since my homepage was created using the Full Site Editor, it does not register as a standard WordPress page. As a result, I cannot utilize the Yoast SEO plugin to optimize the homepage’s SEO settings, which is crucial for search engine visibility and ranking.
Questions:
- Did I follow the correct approach by using the Full Site Editor to design my homepage, or should I have opted for the traditional method of building a regular WordPress page?
- Is there a way to set the Full Site Editor’s pages as a static homepage through the Reading Settings, ensuring seamless navigation for visitors?
- How can I enable Yoast SEO on my homepage, considering that it was created using the Full Site Editor?
Best regards,
Ram
