Using form fields to create a personalized thank you page

I want to create a personalized feel for my thank you page. Instead of a generic “thank you” id like to utilize the first name form field. So after a user submits a contact us form, there first name comes up before the thank you.
example if the person submited a form with a first name of dude..

“Dude, thank you for submitting this awesome contact us form, we will be in touch with you shortly blah blah blah”
