I see that this theme includes flexslider.js, but for each page only one featured image can be set.

What do I need to do to have a slider? I am already running a child theme but am reluctant to put a vast amount of time in for this client.

    Thanks.

  • Hello
i have the same problem, the gallery post formats won’t display a big slideshow on top of the posts.

Thank you for your help !

I think Flexslider as part of WooCommerce there’s currently no support (or plans to add support) in Hoffman (In Author’s words).

    Hi!

This is what it says in the theme’s readme.txt – works fine with me?

    # Use the gallery post format
    ————–

    1. Go to Admin > Posts > Add New.
    2. Select the “Gallery” post format in the Post Attributes box.
    3. Click “Add Media” and upload the images you wish to display in the gallery.
    4. Close the Media window and publish/update the post.
    5. The images you uploaded should now be displayed in the post gallery.

I did as Eva wrote. Now I have “slider” (featured) and I have “gallery” in the post.
BUT I want to have only slider as featured.

    Hi Oktavia,

did you insert the gallery into your post? You don’t have to do that, actually you only have to upload the photos to the respective article. Inserting a gallery will give you duplicate content.

However, I haven’t found out yet how to make the gallery (or quote or video, respectively) show up in the RSS feed ?? Does anybody have an idea?

    It works, thanks u Eva!
Sorry, I do not know the answer to your question
