• Hi,

I purchased a theme which uses flaticons and fontawesome icons in the services section.

I didn’t realise how complicated I’d find it to use. Like I want to use a quill icon but it won’t show up on my site. Despite this code thing at the bottom of the services post types.

How do I get icons to easily work on the website.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Support of all commercial themes and plugins is out of scope for these forums. While we will not close your post, we also cannot guarantee any support at all, be that by volunteers or the developers. We recommend you instead use the developer’s official contact for their premium offerings, as that is the most direct line..

Being out of scope as Steven said, I cannot specifically address your need, but I can offer general advice on using FontAwesome. Flaticons is likely similar, but it appears the needed FontAwesome CSS files are already loaded on your page and Flaticons are not.

In general to use FontAwesome icons, you need to add appropriate classes to a related page element such as the div intended for thumbnail images of your services (existing class “serv-thmb2). FontAwesome classes such as “fa-solid fa-feather”. How you’d actually do this IDK, your theme’s support is the best place to find out.

You’ll likely need some additional CSS to properly size and position the icon. Custom CSS can be added to the Additional CSS section of the customizer or style book.
