Using Excerpts

    Using 2.0.1, I want excerpts of my posts to display when someone clicks on my Articles Category, with a link from the excerpt to the full article.

    There’s apparently more to it than just pasting a snippet in the Optional Excerpt text box. Can someone clue me in on this procedure?

    It depends on theme – and not having a link and/or mentioned it, it’s difficult to guess.
    See Template_Hierarchy and figure out which template file is used to display the category archives… then replace the_content with the_excerpt.
