Using Excel data

We are currently using an Excel file to keep track of some customer accounts and which of our distributors are currently in those accounts. In some cases, it might be more than 1 distributor. My boss wants me to be able to put that information on our website but having to have a password to be able to view that info. Also, he wants our salesman to be able to change the data as they gain more information on each customer account. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to achieve this? Thanks! Melissa
