Using #ert_pane1 and page positioning

When I use the https://www.mysite.com/page/#ert_pane1-x command (x being the particular tab id), the page ends up automatically scrolling down to where the content of the tab is, but it scrolls too far down where you can’t see the tabs themselves (except for the very bottom slice).

Is it possible to use the #ert_panel in the url, but somehow redefine the bookmark to a higher position on the page?

I have very little content before the tabs on my page, so I would really like it to go to the page in it’s normal position but with the particular tab open. Is this possible?
