    Hello,

    Upon testing Wise Chat if I insert an emoji of my own, either using my phone keyboard or any other method of inserting official emoji’s, then the message doesn’t send. As an example, if I enter ?? and press enter the message never shows up. The emoticons work, but can’t get any emoji’s working. This could be bad as a user may try to chat and their message never shows up.

    If I use the text filter and replace ?? with ?? then it converts it to the Pidgeon emoticons that I have in Wise Chat. So I could manually go through and replace all the emoji’s with emoticons I suppose. It would take quite some time though.

    I also tried using the regular (regex) expression and put in the unicode of the emoji’s and replaced them with ??
    Sadly that didn’t work.

    Hello,

    I have the same problem!
    But not only on mobile devices, alsow on a PC.

    Please, can you check it and solve this issues with a new update of Wise Chat Pro?

    Thank you very much.

    Hey,
    so there’s an update for Wise Chat with this in the changelog: Fixed: no message when posting emojis (messages table converted from utf8 to utf8mb4)

    However, it still doesn’t appear to be working. If I post an emoji, e.g. ?? in wise chat it won’t send.

    Hello @benimator

    Please deactivate and activate the plugin again. This should install proper updates to the database.

    @xenixwebdesign Please update to 2.8.3.

    Thanks

    I use version “Wise Chat Pro 2.3.1”
    On your site you say: “Wise Chat Pro 2.3 = Wise Chat 2.8 + Premium Features”
    https://kaine.pl/projects/wp-plugins/wise-chat-pro/

    So, I think I’ve the latest version of your plugin.
    But Saturday April 11, ’20 I still had the same problem.

    I also tried your solution to deactivate the plugin and then reactivate it, but unfortunately this did not make any difference.

    Hello @xenixwebdesign

    I thought you are using the free version, I apologize. Please note that Wise Chat 2.8 != Wise Chat 2.8.3 . We will be releasing a new version of Wise Chat Pro and it will have the emojis fixed.

    Best regards

    Hey @marcinlawrowski
    I deactivated and activated the plugin and now it all works! Thanks for that.

    P.S. I think it’d be cool to have something like OpenMoji as one of the emoticon sets. I’m currently using Pidgin cos it looked the nicest, but even it’s looking quite dated. I might upgrade to Pro to load in more modern emoji sets, but I just think it’d be cool to have a more up to date set for the free users.

    @marcinlawrowski

    No problem.
    I am waiting for the new update.

    I do have another question.

    I have created 3 rooms.
    How can I use different opening hours for all rooms?

    Is this possible via the shortcode?
    Room 1: “Wednesday 7pm / 9pm” and “Saturday 7pm / 8.30pm”

    Room 2: “Saturday 7pm / 8.30pm”

    Room 3: 24/24 7/7 (always open)

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards,

    @xenixwebdesign

    Here is a general example:

    [wise-chat opening_days="{Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Saturday,Sunday}" opening_hours="{opening: 8:30, openingMode: AM, closing: 10:30, closingMode: PM }" enable_opening_control="1"]

    You can easily prepare Room 2 and 3, but configuration of Room 1 is not possible because you can’t have different opening hours in different days.
