    Once installed, the fabulous ‘Import Users’ plugin has a section in the Dashboard called ‘Email templates (Import Users)‘. I see how these work, BUT, once you have made your emailtemplate, where do you send that email from?

    Sorry if I’m missing something obvious. Thanks!

    In “Email options” you have the option to load a template instead of creating it from zero.

    Check it.

    Thank you Javier! Thus:

    In:

    Tools>Import & Export Users & Customers>Mail Options

    …Email templates can be loaded, and edited to show username, password etc.

    In addition, from that page, the ‘Import & Export Users & Customers’ plugin can be set automatically to send an email ON IMPORT of the CSV file when user is Created, Edited or their Password changed.

    My question though is, is it possible:

    (i) to send username and password details individually to CSV-imported users manually, and if so from where? WP does not show the user’s password unless the ‘generate password’ button is pressed by admin – which changes the password, making the existing (hidden?) one, void.

    (ii) to send username and password details ‘en masse’ after the CSV import has been done?

    @cmsplay,

    Plugin send email after user is created, it prepares a different email for every user and send it after import every user.
