• Hello,

I am completely new to working with Elementor Pro and have a general questions when it comes to building websites with Elementor Pro for clients.

How exactly would the website handover work? When I have the Expert Plan and can. build 1,000 sites, would my client need to purchase the plugin as well once I use a migration plugin to get website over to their hosting?

Basically, I was thinking to first build the website with Elementor Pro on a local environment (like flywheel) and once I am 100% done, I would use another plugin to basically copy everything over to the client’s hosting. But wouldn’t they have access to my Elementor Pro subscription then? This is where I am a bit confused and would appreciate any help! I also read that if you delete the Elementor Plugin on a wordpress site that has been developed with this plugin, it should continue to work as is, however, if you don’t have an active subscription you also don’t get the updates anymore and that way it could be that the plugin becomes outdated and might not be compatible with WordPress or other plugins anymore. If that is the case, it would mean that my clients would need their own subscription to elementor?

    Thanks!

  • Hi @jana90

It would be better to ask about your requirements from Elementor directly.

To ask, please go to the Elementor website and click on the chat button or visit Elementor contact page.

They will better help you with this. ??

Since you use a commercia plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
