Using Easy Fancy Box with wordpress gallery

    Hello,

    I am using Easy Fancy Box to make images pop up in a lightbox. It works fine with single images. It does not work, however, with an image gallery.
    If I switch to the default 2014-theme the plugin works fine, also with galleries. So it seems to be something with the Sugar & Spice theme.

    Even when disabling the Easy Fancy Box plugin to use just the built in theme-gallery: no matter what I choose in the gallery settings, I can always click on one of the gallery images which leads to a detail page for that image. Even if I choose Gallery-Settings > link to > none. The link for the images remains!

    Please advise.

    Hello!

    The theme has it’s own way of handling image galleries, so it won’t work with Easy Fancy Box. The image link issue even with ‘none’ setting will be fixed in the next update.

    Thanks so much for the super-quick response, wow! Thank you for clarifying – I just couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong; it was driving me crazy. So good to know that it just won’t work with Fancy Box.
    I don’t mind that so much – as long as the issue with the image link will be fixed hopefully soon. Any idea when the next update will come out?
