• Hi Aaron, first of all great plug-in.

In my new project I’m in need of a dynamically generated before/after slider, since I use divi your plug-in was very welcoming but since it doesn’t support dynamic links I cannot work with it.

Is there a way I can use the dynamic content generated from ACF in your plug-in?

If not, in case you still updating the plug-in. I hope you consider adding dynamic content opportunity.

It is sad that elementor users can do this and with Divi builder we cannot…

@dredged Hello, thanks for writing and for the suggestion. I watched the video. On first review, I think you can replicate the setup from the video with this plugin and the latest version of Divi.

You may not need to use ACF if your goal is to set the before image and after image once in the Dashboard, and then reuse the slider on multiple pages or posts without having to set the pictures on each page/post. That task should be possible using Divi’s global modules. Have you tried creating a slider as a global module and adding that module to all of the pages where you want the slider to appear? Once you add a global module to a page or post, you can edit it in Divi > Divi Library, and it will update on all pages/posts where the global module appears.

You can add a module to all Posts using Divi > Theme Builder. Using the templates in that section allows you to add modules to all Posts similar to the template system in Elementor that WPTuts demonstrated in their video.

Please let me know if that info helps.

Hi again, thank you for your comment. It’s great to hear that you will consider my suggestion =)

I’m experienced in Divi theme. I use ACF not only for B/A images but also for other assets in my custom posts. So for every post there will be a different B/A image couple. That’s why I cannot use it with global modules.

my goal was adding an empty Before + After Images for Divi module to the Divi builder page and in every specific page let the ACF fill the before and after images

I also tried to use Twenty20 Image Before-After Plug-ins shortcodes but in order to set the image ID’s I had to use nested shortcodes, but plug-ins shortcode structure was not allowing it.

So for me it looks like a dead end until elegant themes or boltonstudios find a way for it.

While waiting I’ll try to use Twenty20 in the content module within theme builder since I can call images for seperated posts only from there.

@dredged Thank you for explaining. I understand now. I will consider this more and will post a note here if I can add this feature to the plugin.
