Thank for providing such an incredible photo gallery plugin! We are using a Flickr account to manage and organize photos, and this allows us to easily bring the albums into our website.

There is one thing that I’m still having trouble with. I am using the “Collections” view to show albums from a specific Flickr collection. When the user clicks on an album, it opens the photos in a separate page. For the collection thumbnails, I’m using a standard square thumbnail format and show the title beneath the thumbnail. For the separate photo page, I’m using a Random Justified layout, and therefore the title cannot be shown beneath the thumbnail.

Is it possible to choose a different title view style for the Collections albums vs. the separate photo page? Since I chose “show title beneath thumbnails,” it appears to use the same setting on both, which obviously doesn’t work on the Random Justified grid.

Thank you in advance for any assistance that you can provide!

What if you don’t explicitly pass the title option, and make it inherit the defaults from the settings instead? Not sure if it will work (I built this specific functionality 7-8 years back), but you can try the following settings:

    • Photonic → Settings → Flickr → Photoset / Album Thumbnails (with other Photosets / Albums) → Photoset Title Display
    • Photonic → Settings → Flickr → Photos (Main Page) → Photo Title Display

    This might work.
