• I am using Pilcrow theme on a new site.

    https://www.backtothecave.org

I’d like to put different text than I have on the home page in the sidebars on the third and fourth pages. Is this possible. I imagine there is a workaround…?

    Thanks.

  • The Widget Logic plugin will let you conditionally show a widget using PHP code.

I have not used it, but the Widget Logic Visual claims to allow conditional showing of widgets without code.

vtxyzzy is correct. Widget Logic works great for targeting which pages which widgets show up on.

You can also directly edit your sidebar.php file and use php if else statements to conditionally show whatever you want.

    BTW – Sidebars, what sidebars?

I guess they are really Widgets. I hadn’t thought of the distinction, as they look like sidebars in the template of “pilcrow”. Thanks. I will try the suggested ideas.
