using define('WPLANG', '') outside of wp-config.php

  • Hi,

    I am trying to change the language of my theme. When I insert define('WPLANG', 'de_DE'); in wp-config.php, it seems to work. But I need this code to be in a special file which is into my own theme. I just tried that but it keeps ignoring it.

    Is there a way to define the language outside of wp-config.php?

}
