• Hi David,

The plugin looks great and I’m even considering buying the pro version. The thing stopping me is the use of Font Awesome 5. I’m very conscious of load times and don’t want FA5 loaded on every page. Dashicons would be totally fine for my use case. Can you add an option to use them instead of FA5?

    Thanks!

    Hi @menathor,

we may add Dashicons in the future. We also only load FontAwesome for logged-in users, Swift Control doesn’t add any load for regular site visitors ??

Thanks David, that would be great. I’ll hold off until then. I’m using it for client sites and still like to make sure they have the fastest experience possible when managing their sites. Font Awesome is quite large and that’s a fair bit of overhead for a few icons ??

Also I’m running a BuddyPress membership site so 99% of users who interact with my site will be logged in. Is there a way to set which user roles the icons are shown for?

    Thanks
