    I believe you’re going to need to tap into the rewrite API to handle this task. Our plugin doesn’t go into much detail for that topic, and from the sounds of it, you need a fairly customized structure.

    Really? I’m struggling to see the point of the custom slugs then. All I’m really after is having a /category/post structure.

    I’m not saying for sure I’m right, because I know I know less about rewrites than I prefer.

    From what you type above, you’re wanting plural “companies” in your url, as well as a tax term for the single post url, unless I’m reading something wrong here. For that type of thing, last I knew, you needed to get into the rewrite rules a bit more manually than just relying on the default ones.
