• Hi there. I have a lot of different smileys saved on my computer, and I was wondering if there is a way that I could replace the smileys that come with WordPress with the ones that I have?
Thanks a bunch if you can help me out. ??

  • Sure…the easiest way is just to save your similies with the same filenames that are used in WP and replace them.

I did that with some of them, but there are others that I have that I would like to incorporate, but aren’t like any smileys in WP. Do you know how I could go about placing those in?
    Thanks for replying. ??

I’m using WP version 1.0.2, but I found the two files that you mentioned, and I’m going to add them right now. Thanks a ton for pointing this out to me. ??

You’ve lost me. What two files?

I’ve also got a collection of custom smileys, and I’ve been looking for a plugin that lets me put them in my posts by simply clicking their picture in the admin interface. I was told to try out Alex King’s wp_grins, but it doesn’t work with custom smileys.

I could rename all my smileys, but there are loads of them that isn’t like any smileys in WP. What should I do?
