Anything in the log on Mailchimp for Wp > Other?
You can set it to “log everything” and then test again to see if the submission is picked up at all or if the log stays empty.

Often it’s just double opt-in that’s turned on, then of course the subscriber needs to confirm their email before showing up in Mailchimp.

Otherwise let me know the error in the log if any and share a link to the form so I can see if the checkbox is added correctly.

    Thanks for letting me know.

I have selected ‘Everything’ but no errors or warnings are appearing at all.

The registration form is a hard coded custom form; would this be the issue?

    Hey @welshhuw,

Yes, that would be the issue then. If you do not use the WordPress methods for form submission, then it’s not possible for our plugin to hook into the form.

OK, Thank you for the help.

However, as long as the form is posting to your WordPress site and not some external site or script our plugin should be able to pick it up.
If you want me to check it you can share a link to where I can test the form.

You can contact the author on their own site and, once there, the discussion is between the two of you. However, it is not OK to enter or send site credentials on these forums. We don’t want to encourage others (who are less reputable) to do similar things. It’s a fine line, but one that we need to enforce. Thanks for your cooperation.
