Using custom fields in the authors page. Some function?

  • Hi,

    I am working in a multiple authors page. For each author in the author’s page, I need to retrieve some information, stored in custom fields created with Pie Register.

    Are there some template tags or functions that I can use to retrieve this information separately? Not a shortcode to retrieve all fields like the [pie_register_profile] one, but a function like:

    get_register_profile_field('field_ID');

    I searched in the database and the fields are stored this way:

    pie_textarea_6, pie_text_14, etc.

    It would be great if in the form editor the admin could specify a custom id for each field, as other plugins like Cimy User Extra Fields or Register Plus Redux do. That would help my request in the main post.
