Using core wordpress mediaelement for audio instead of jplayer?

Hi

Loving the template but would like to know a couple of things.

I am using EasyDigitalDownloads and Hueman (as a child theme). I would like the WP core mediaelement player to display audio in the EDD category posts like it does when I use Twenty Fourteen as the theme. The ME player does display in Hueman when viewing singular EDD posts but not in the EDD category posts? Could you tell me what code I should be looking for and where to place it in my child theme so I can display the core player rather than your Jplayer?

OR (if easier) could you tell me how to use your Jplayer in my custom EDD Category/singular posts instead of mediaelement core. I like the way that your player works for standard wordpress posts but again it is not displayed in category listing.

I would be very grateful if you could help me with this as I do like the HTML5/responsive nature of both players but I need to have an audio player per post in the category.
