Using contact Form 7 & Easy Fancy Box

    Hi there,

    I’m really new to WordPress and would like to have a button clicked to bring up a pop up with a Contact Form 7 form. I followed the tutorials I could find and I’m not sure if I’m missing a step.I downloaded and activated Contact Form 7 and Easy FancyBox. And I’m using the Massive Dynamic theme.

    So, I initially input the following code in the page using Text:

    Upload Your Image
    <div style=”display:none” class=”fancybox-hidden”>
    <div id=”contact_form_pop”>
    [contact-form-7 id=”4652″ title=”IW Form”]</div>
    </div>

    What resulted was ‘Upload Image’ showed up but on clicking, nothing happened.

    I did also change the settings>media to include inline content just in case.

    Am I missing a step or doing something wrong? I also couldn’t figure out where the fancybox classes are actually defined. or how “custom_form_pop” is defined. Ultimately I would like the form to be triggered from a button.I apologize in advance if my questions are very basic.

    If you have any light you can shed my way that’d be totally appreciated.

    Hi @sherwink your link code was converted to a link so I cannot see the original code. Please use the code button (or wrap it in back-ticks) when writing code snippets on the forum.

    Good, Inline Content needs to be activated.

    Can you share a link to your site maybe? There might be a conflicting script in your theme or other plugin…

    @vadim yes, that is possible but please be aware that the hidden inline code needs to be on each page (if your menu link is there too) so it might be easier to just create a dedicated page with your form, install the Show Content Only plugin and link to that page with ?content-only=1 appended to the URL. Then give the menu item the class “fancybox-iframe” and activate iFrame option on Settings > Media.

    Thanks, at least I got it working. How ever, when I select content only, form looks very bad. If I select content + css, conflict with wpml breaks my site

    No idea what is happening there. You might want to get support from either of those two plugin devs…
