    Hi Tobias,
colvis helps me sort stuff nicely but I have a couple of questions:

    1. Can I initialise it to show 3 out of the 30 columns, then select which to add? Deleting all is too complicated.

    2. Using search, it still searches all columns, not the ones shown by colvis

3.using datatable tools, print is fine but copy to clipboard or export, exports the entire table not just those shown by colvis.

    Thanks for your help.

    John

PS when I get wordpress 4 installed I’ll go for table press 1.5

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Sorry, but I don’t really know if and how all of that is possible ?? I’m just not that familiar with the actual ColVis JS script. I only made it available as a TablePress Extension, but I’m not its developer and don’t know all the details.

From the script’s documentation at https://datatables.net/extensions/colvis/ , it doesn’t seem that this is possible though. Sorry ??

    Regards,
    Tobias
