    Hi,

    I’m already using your plugin.

I wonder if it would be possible to use colours within the booking agenda in order to distinguish free dates (for example in green) and booked dates (for example in red) like many other booking platforms.

Would it be possible with this plugin?

    Thanks,

    Jean-Marc

    Hello Jean-Marc!

I sure get what you’re trying to complete, but our Hotel Booking Styles add-on won’t be helpful in this case. So I may suggest you apply some custom CSS to set the colors that you need. If you would like us to help you out, please, provide your site URL and make sure the site is publicly available.

    Hello Eugene,

And thank you very much for your answer to my post.

Here is the page concerned: https://www.lesoleilenhiver.com/louer-le-gite-avec-piscine-andalousie-espagne-la-era-8-personnes/

See the form below the introduction, under the headline “Vérifiez les disponibilités” (that means in french “Check availabilities”).

We wonder how to use different colors according to the status “already booked” or “not booked”.

    Thank you,

    Jean-Marc

    Hello Jean-Marc!

First of all, I would like to inform you that you use a general search availability form, where booked/available dates cannot be reflected. In order to complete what you need, you may need to use the “Booking Form”. But keep in mind that this booking form connects to a single accommodation type, so you may need to have two different forms since you have two accommodation types. Once it’s done, we will be able to help you change the colors.

    Hello Eugene,

After having clarified a few points, I’m coming back to you.

My question is: should it be possible to define the colours in the calendar based exclusively on one accomodation type?

The page concerned is the following: https://www.lesoleilenhiver.com/louer-le-gite-avec-piscine-andalousie-espagne-la-era-8-personnes/.

This solution would work for us, because we have only two options: either book one cottage (2-4 people) o book both cottages (5-8 people), that correspond to the two accomodation types. We’ll never rent the two accomodation types at the same time for different people. When one of the two accomodation options is booked, we’ll manually block the same dates for the other accomodation type. That’s why we can manage the calendar colours based on only one accomodation type.

So, the idea is to keep the website as it is today, but only add colours within the form calendar based on only one accomodation type, so that the user would immediately know which dates are already booked and which ones are free.

I hope to be clear ??

    Thank you for your consultancy,

    Jean-Marc

    Hello Jean-Marc!

    Sorry for the late reply.
I sure get what you’re trying to complete, but I’m afraid there’s no way to set different calendar colors for your accommodation types, unfortunately. At this moment there’s no appropriate functionality in our Hotel Booking plugin, and CSS won’t be helpful in this particular case. Sorry to disappoint you.
