edit your stylesheet for the page elements you want to change

Excuse my ignorance cubecolour how do you edit your style sheet this is all a little new to me!!

You’d need to learn a bit of CSS, but the learning curve is fairly shallow. There are several good books available, but to get started you can look at:

As you appear to be using the twentyten theme, you should not edit the stylesheet of that theme directly, but create a child theme
