• Hello,

I am using CloudFlare with one of my sites and I have also setup CloudFlare with W3 Total Cache. My question is, Will W3 Total Cache automatically purge CloudFlare cache every time I make a new post etc.? And clicking empty all cache on the admin menu will also purge CloudFlare cache?

Would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

  • I use CloudFlare with W3 and had no issues with caching as long as you set the caching level to “standard” on CloudFlare so full URIs (including everything at the right of the ? character) are unique.

So, when you update the media query string on W3 there will be no need to purge anything on CloudFlare since all items will be “new”.

Regarding whole pages… they aren’t cached at all, so when you make a new post and the index is rebuilt by W3, changes will reflect immediately on CloudFlare.
