    Hi Hector,

We have just moved to a new host: rocket.net

After a couple of days we have noticed a drop in views reported by your plugin:

    https://prntscr.com/207rcq4

Discussing it with the hosting engineers, they say the following:

“Our platform delivers the entire site from the CDN. You would need to either use admin-ajax.php within the code to record this or a javascript implementation that fires client-side.

Having something server-side does not scale and unfortunately will not work on our platform with the full page caching.

We haven’t made any changes whatsoever to your site other than accelerate it via the Cloudflare Enterprise CDN and WP-Rocket.

If traffic is down in the plugin, I’m not sure why that would be. From our end, we’re showing no errors on your site and everything is working properly.

I’d recommend contacting the developer that manages that plugin to ensure it’s firing properly.”

Can you please assist in explaining how the plugin would work in the above set-up or what we need to do to make it work?

We have been using your plugin for years and it would be a pity to move away from WPP due to the above conflict.

    Regards,
    Sam

    Also, the hosting engineer said:

“I will say that we never cache anything within wp-json.”

    Hi @indyparker,

I’m not really familiar with Cloudflare so I’m not sure I can help here. The only thing I can suggest is to make sure that CF’s page cache -which from your comments seem to rely on WP Rocket- regenerates at least once per day, otherwise the plugin may have problem tracking visits. See: Is WordPress Popular Posts compatible with caching plugins? (Applies to all types of server-side page caching, not just third-party caching plugins).
