    Hi there,

    Complianz is such an awesome tool which instantly replaced my previous setup.

    I have one question, though. I maintain the tech setup for a series of websites, where we would like to use both Google Analytics and Matomo (for benchmarking and to use features in both analytics products).

    When I go through the Complianz setup it seems that I can only choose one of them?–?is there a way to have Complianz handle both Google Analytics and Matomo to ensure that they are implemented and enforced according to the user’s consent?

    Thanks and best regards,

    Lars K Jensen

    Hi @larskjensen,

    Yes, you could you choose one or choose none, and select “Yes, but not with any of the above services”.

    You can then proceed to add them to our script center or use your own implementation with some attributes:

    <script type="text/plain" data-category="statistics">
    // Fires on Statistics
    </script>

    Hope this helps,

    regards Aert

    Hi Aert,

    Thank you so much. That appears to work.

    However, I need to set some attributes for the Matomo script, namely the user ID, for that to be tracked once the user has consented.

    The Matomo document/guide for doing that is here –?but I can’t use PHP in the Matomo script editor, it just prints it out as text in the source code:

    https://developer.matomo.org/guides/tracking-javascript-guide#user-id

    What to do?

    Best,
    Lars
