Using BNFW for Notifications

  • Hello,

    I am using WPDM to manage my documents and I have a need to notify my users via email when a new document is uploaded or an existing one is updated. I was looking to use BNFW (Better Notifications for WordPress) plugin to accomplish this. Im having trouble getting BNFW to recognize any trigger from WPDM. How can I make BNFW aware of actions in WPDM?

  • Just to chime in here, it looks like @odonnry is having issues because the custom post type that WPDM adds isn’t public so BNFW cannot detect it in the list of available custom post type to send notifications for.

    Thanks for your input on this issue @voltronik . I have verified that all the documents ive added are set to public, but maybe its something underlying with WPDM. Im completely open to any other suggestions ??
