• Hi I’m new and did a search to see if my question was here already and did not see it. I’m using my blog (iworkheshome.com) as my website hosted by an outside hosting svc. (1and1.com) They are using WP themes.

I wanted to know if there was a way I could add my autoresponder to my blog in either the widgets or as a locked post that always appears at the top of my blog?

The customize widgets feature is not even visible in this blog as it is in my private WP blog. So I don’t know how to insert the html code for my sign up.

Also, I would prefer it as a locked post that always stays at the top of the blog right under the header image so if you could provide that, that would be the best for me. If not, I’m cool with using it in the widgets.

Hope this is not too confusing as it sounds. Thanks a bunch!

  • You picked one of the worst hosts possible.
And if you went with their one-click install: you are out of luck. That’s a messed up WP and not much flexibility to customize. Delete it and do a manual install. Or, get a decent host.

As for the “locked” thing… we call it ‘sticky’, so search for a plugin with that name.

    Thanks Moshu.

I know I am not a fan! I have to wait out my hosting period but believe me, I will be getting out of there asap.

Okay thanks for the tech lingo. That will help.
