Using "Before Items" field, in widget, causes display problem

    I want to display a logo, before the rss feed items (at the top of the widget). When I add the following ( <a href="https://www.womensoutdoornews.com/"><img src="https://huntinglife.staging.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/won-logo.png"></a> ) to the Before Items field, the feed items are displayed differently. Instead of being horizontally centered, and separated by a horizontal line, they are now being displayed as a bulleted list, which is offset to the left (to the point that half the bullets are cut off, on the left side).

    The RSSImport widget is second from the bottom, in the right sidebar. The widget below it is the standard WordPress RSS feed widget.
