Using bbPress as comments, post does not refresh.

    Cache seems to be working great, except…

    I am using bbPress as a forum, but also as the comment engine for the blog. If a comment is made either through the forums or the comment section, the forum cache is cleared and a new page loaded so the new posts show up as expected.

    However, the actual post page that the comment was on is not refreshing itself with a new cache copy, because I guess there was nothing about that post object that changed?

    Any ideas or workarounds for this behavior?

    Ideally, the parent topic and post would update to show new stats, replies, etc. A workaround I’ve used is to shorten the cache time to 1hr. Then at least the content is reasonably fresh for non-logged in users. However, I’ll keep this topic open and take another look at more robust auto-refreshing for bbpress.
