Unfortunately, This is not working at all. The messages are only sent once.

And after the fist one, none are delivered. Post SMTP states the e-mail was sent, they show up in the sendgrid.com log and they are never received at the e-mail address.

Just placed a test order and it was never sent to the customer or us.

We can not be the only people experiencing this.

If SendGrid is showing them as being sent, then they must be leaving Post SMTP correctly.

That suggests the problem is with the receiving mail account blocking/refusing or junking the received emails.

Have you double checked your DKIM/SPF, Rev DNS, Domain Host and From: fields are all correct?

    Hey @shinerweb,

You are correct. This plugin is not the problem.

We are in contact with SendGrind. This is the fist time we have used an API and would like to continue to do so. But if only 10% of the e-mails are accepted by the recipients e-mail provider, we can’t.

We were hoping someone might be able to offer some ideas. Doesn’t Google offer a API solution?

It is very hard to believe other people who set up this plug in using the SendGrid
“Free” API are not also losing e-mails.

We are only sending orders to the customer and ourselves from wordpress and test e-mails.

As far as this ( “DKIM/SPF, Rev DNS, Domain Host” ) I am not sure exactly what you are referring to. Where would we be filling out that information?

    Thanks for the help.

    Hey @yehudah,

Thanks we will certainly do that.

@shinerweb When we signed up for sendgrind there was no mention of any of these things.( “DKIM/SPF, Rev DNS, Domain Host” ). They are important and would result in a higher % of e-mail getting delivered.

After a half dozen messages with support someone mentioned that it was not set up in our account. They also let us know that some of the shared IPs their API was using to send e-mails were blacklisted.

If you are using your e-mail to send orders to customers or customer service, you may lose a % of them using a free API ( depending on the API ).

    @yehudah

We attempted to try and setup a google API and started following this tutorial but Google API does not come up in the list of Possible APIs.

Does this require that you are using a gmail e-mail address?
