Using anonymous post plugin with P2 theme
-
Last night I installed WordPress for the first time on a new website I’m working on. As general background without going to deep into the concept, the aim is to create a twitter like site, without the need for profiles were posts can be made anonymously.
To that end I installed & activated the P2 theme. I then installed both the Anon Post plugin, went through the set up process featured in the readme file and activated it, but to my dismay it didn’t work. I deactived it and installed the Quick Post Widget, activated it and again it did not work. Please note, in order to test the plugins I logged out and visited the blog page.
What am I doing wrong? My intention is to allow anonymous frontend posting with some form of CAPTCHA embedded to reduce spam. It would be USEFUL although not required at this stage, if the user had to sign-up and login with their display name being randomly generated on a post-by-post basis. Any help in getting this to work with either of the plugins mentioned or suggestions for other plugins which would achieve the desired result with the P2 theme would be greatly appreciated.
I’m not sure if you need the link but here it is just in case so I can get answers as quickly as possible: https://www.grumbl.in/beta
