First off I am a real noob. Words like phpmySQL run the hack on codex 54 footer/etc. is like GREEK to me.

SO…I have a new site up and want to use a different template. For example…I like ‘random image’ from Alexkings 2005 contest. Will this older template work in wordpress 2.0.4?

Also, in which folder in Filezilla do I add it to? I have the main stuff in httpdocs (wordpress), but how do I change the wordpress default blog theme to one I have downloaded? Again spell it out, i am slow when it comes to this website stuff.

Nevermind…after searching through wordpress (this new version is fantastic!) I was able to succesfully uplaod a new theme. For future searches for others like me:

Go to the directory “/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/” (i am using Filezilla) and make a new directory (right click, create directory) and name it whatever you want. go into this new directory and load everything into it. Then log in to word press and go to the “presentation’ tab. You should see the new template on this page. Your all done!

    Thanks wordpress!
