Using an exiting custom post

    Thank so much for your fabulous plugin.. and my apologies if this questions is too obvious..

    I have a custom post type with its own taxonomy and metaboxes and it is already filled with entries. Is it possible to use the entries from my custom post type to feed your plugin instead of adding new entries in “portfolio” ..

    Hi Sarah,

    Thank you for the kind words. It’d be a bit of work because I’ve hardcoded the post type and taxonomy names in a few areas, but it could be done. You’d definitely wouldn’t be able to update the plugin as any update would overwrite your changes though.

    I just wondered if you managed to get this working with another custom post type as I need to do the same.

    It would also be good to do this with the standard WP posts.

    Any direction as to what I need to amend please?
