    I followed instructions EXACTLY from here: “Using a pre-existing subdirectory install”.

    I’ve used WP for almost ten years now. I’ve done this before and it has someitgmes worked, sometimes I’ve had the exact same issue. Problem this time is that I cant resolve it, and i cant log into the admin panel to reverse it either.

    – In my WP subdirectory, I do *not* and havent had any htaccess file. This file has been in my root all along. And the file is 0kb, if that makes any diffenrece

    I would guess your server is still looking wherever it has always looked, and moving files does not change that. I have a Primary Domain and five Add-Ons, and moving files or folders would be pointless without doing some re-pointing at cPanel.

    You do not need your Dashboard to fix this. Just put whatever you have moved back to wherever it was and then add those Domain and location settings to wp-config.
