Using a password for access to Restrict pages

  • I lost my website https://www.sevenpillarstotalhealth.com and am having to recreate it. I used Restrict for my ecourse in the past and I’m trying to use it again. It is not a membership site. In the past I could assign a password and then the people who had the password could access the pages. I can’t find a password choice on the plugin now. How do I do it?

    Apologies for the delayed response.

    Currently, there isn’t a feature to have password protection on each page specifically through RC. Restrict Content allows you to restrict pages per user role, access level, and membership level through a subscription (free or paid). However, you may manually create users and add them through WordPress Users or RC Customers (Restrict > Customers)

    Whether you manually add a User through WordPress Users or RC Customers, you have the option to generate a password or manually enter one. See this article for more details.
