• We have the latest version of S3 and am contemplating upgrading to Pro. However, we have experienced a few login problems.

One of the users was unable to login. I reset their password, and tried logging in as them. It wouldn’t log them in. However, when I put my admin username and password in it then logged me in as the first user I was trying to test login info for. I tried this several times and it always logged me in as her, even though I was logging in as me (admin) after attempting to login as her.

Once I disabled S3 I was able to login using this original users username and password. With S3 installed I couldn’t login as them.

  • This sounds like a theme or plugin conflict. Are you or your host running some sort of caching?

No caching plugin. We are on a dedicated server and don’t have caching installed. I was going to add one after we get out of development.

We are using Divi theme. We have 14 plugins active. Most I would think would not product a conflict.

We are using Formidable forms that will register people when they fill out the form and redirect them to the next step. But it works seems to work just fine with s2Member installed. That is the only one that appears may be causing any type of conflict. We needed that as when the user creates an account we it appears seamless as part of the form and redirects them to the correct form by state.

Some people have no problem logging in either. But we have had a few that have experienced a long time of being unable to login.

The only way to be sure about conflicts is to turn everything else off and see what happens. You’ll be amazed at what can conflict with what.
