  • Hello,

I had the same problem and did some searching and found that it was WP-Cache that was messing it up..

If you have that plugin disable it and your site should work fine!

I’m having this problem as well, and

    • I de-activated wp-cache
    • , but still the problem remains. Anything else I can do ? This just started happening after editing some text in a sidebar widget, and my site’s been fine and unchanged for a year other than content updates.

UPDATE: Now it appears I’m also getting the Internal 500 Error when clicking the links and going to different pages, so it’s actually getting worse. Best advide at this point ? I’m on an older version (2.2)

    Okay, my bad ………
Looks like my Plugins page where I activate and de-activate plugins isn’t working, so I actually had to re-name the wp-cache plugin directory in order to de-activate, and now it appears the 500 error has stopped.

Thank You! This was really starting to make me angry!
