User’s profile picture to be synced from Active Directory

This depends upon the type of Active Directory. If your client uses Azure Active Directory: this won’t work – NADI itself won’t work with it.

If your client uses Azure Active Directory Domain Services: Yes, it should work.

None of the services you listed is related to NADI. NADI only works with an Active Directory instance. Either installed on one of your servers or by using the Azure Active Directory Services, a hosted alternative in Azure.
The solutions you listed are only methods how and where users are stored.

Sorry for the misunderstanding – my knowledge in Active Directory is not high ??

The client has On-Premise Active Directory, which is synchronized to Azure AD.

So my questions are:

1. Would their AD sync to wordpress with your plugin; and if so

2. Will images be able to sync as well?

If they are using the on-premises Active Directory: NADI is able to sync the users from their on-premises AD to WordPress. The images in the AD user’s attribute (e.g. thumbnailPhoto) can be synced as well.
