    hey im trying to give users certain capabilities.
    the exact capabilities i want to give the user is be able to make a draft with any type of media in it.

    the only problem with this is that when i provide the user with media upload permission it also give the user the right to delete all the media already posted.

    is there a way that the user can only add media to their post but not access other media objects?

    i tried using Role Manager and is the same, giving upload permission gives user permission to delete all media.

    Well once again i found a way around it, i just went inside the code and hard code it, to check if current user level is admin level if not than don’t display the edit media library but display the upload tab.]
    works fine :D..

    this forum needs more helpers ill as much as i can come help people like me..

    ill be back if i have other questions.
