When I test registering on the site using the default WordPress registration form the user never appears in the pending users list at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=new-user-approve-admin

I’ve tested it using a default theme and with all other plugins disabled but the user never appears in the admin list.I receive the admin and user emails saying that a user is pending approval but they don’t appear in the admin.

I’m not seeing any errors in our servers error log so I’m not sure why nothing is happening. Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi @connor212,

Please first check that the newly registered user has the pending status. If the user has pending status and he is not appearing in the pending users list at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=new-user-approve-admin then it seems the transient that stores the respective value got some invalid value. please install the ‘Transients Manager’ plugin, and delete the transient ‘new_user_approve_user_statuses’ and check if the issue persists.

    Thanks
