Users inside add-list form

    Hello ..
    I am a big fan of this plugin, and I use it in almost all of my projects.

    What I need now is to be able to display the list of selected user-role (eg, editors) in the GeoDirectory add-list form, just like the ACF, So that I can, while writing the topic, select some members whose names will appear in the topic.

    I know that this property is not present in the custom fields of GeoDirectory. But I need a way to add it, or even if I have to install ACF and merge this custom field into a geodirectory form.

    Can you explain this more so i can advise better?
    1. Is this just a role you need to set, editor, contributor, administrator? Or specific users?
    2. What output do you need to display for this?

    Hi Stiofan,

    Just like [ACF – user field] , while creating the custom field I can specify the group of members that I will show. For example, if I choose the administrators, then when I write the topic, it will show me all the members who are under the “administrators” role, and then I will choose the members that I want.
    After I submit the topic, the “first and last name” of the members that I have chosen will appear in the front end.

    Btw, I installed ACF and added (user field) in GeoDirectory backend. it works fine except:
    1- Can’t be used in the add-list form (front end from).
    2- It displays the users inside the WP-editor as (search field) and I want it as (multi select field)

    Hi @sam3000us,

    Thanks for explaining. Just FYI we have no compatibility with ACF, we use different database tables to store data.

    We don’t have a users field and I can’t remember it ever being asked for, we usually add things that are requested often.

    If not it may require a developer to customise if its a requirement for your project.
