A user is able to successfully log in by clicking on log in (taken to wp-admin) and then upon log in they are taken back to the homepage and shown the top admin/menu bar which is correct. The issue though is when they click on a page that contains an archive of membership protected content they are seeing this page as logged out (no longer seeing the admin/menu bar and again shown the sign up / log in buttons. If the user clicks on log in they then have to log in again and are again back at the same issue. However if the user instead refreshes the page (before clicking the login link again) they are then displayed the admin/menu bar and are able to view everything as logged in. Example when going to this page: https://madalynaslan.com/category/horoscopes/monthly/current/. There is no cacheing on the website.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @adamwlang,

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

Could you please tell me what version Of Paid Memberships Pro/Add Ons, WordPress and PHP you are using please.

Also, I see your login link goes to wp-login.php, please go to memberships > settings > pages, to set up PMPro Front End Login page which should contain only the [pmpro_login] shortcode, and also go to memberships > settings > advanced, under “message settings”, be sure your Sign Up and Login Links are pointed to the appropriate URL.

    Hello @adamwlang,

Are the users you refer to having a membership on your website?

You said they are then displayed the admin/menu bar and are able to view everything as logged in., if you go to memberships > settings > advanced, under “Restrict Dashboard Access”, there are two options there to prevent members from seeing the admin/menu bar.

Are you saying you want members to be able to see this admin/menu bar or you do not want them to see the admin/menu bar?

    Hi Mary,

This is not the issue that I’m referring to. The issue is that after a successful log in (from the PMP login page) they are taken to the homepage and then if they click back to any of the membership only content they are signed out and continue to see the log in or sign up links. There is no way for these users to see this content. Would it help to schedule a screen share with you?

    Hi @adamwlang

    Thank you for your patience.

Does this happen if you log in via the default wp-login.php URL? Does refreshing the page where the user gets logged out help at all?
