Users can’t log in since WP update

  • Hello everyone,
    since the last WordPress update, no users, except the admin, can log in into the WP-admin, despite using the correct passwords. They can’t change their password either

    I tried all recommendations online: resetting htaccess, resetting wp-config, disabling plugins, going back to default template, changing passwords from the database… All it achieved was disabling jetpack and I can’t configure this plugin again.

    It happened since the last wordpress update. I really hope you will be able to advise how to fix that because I am out of options,

  • Have you checked if you have any MU plugins?
    Or plugins saved in non-standard folders (so outside of the plugins folder, which is inside the wp-content folder)?

    Have you tried re-installing your core files?

    And disabling plugins. Have you got a backup?
