Users can’t log in

    Hi,

    I have a problem with the login function of this plugin.

    When a new user is created, they are unable to log in. This is what happens:
    – New user is created.
    – They type in their username/email and the generated password.
    – When they press “Log In”, a message shows up: “Sending user info, please wait…”.
    – After a few seconds, another message shows up: “Wrong username or password.”
    – They go through the steps to recover the password, but that doesn’t work either.

    This means that new listings can’t be made.

    I know that this has been an issue that has been resolved in the past. But I still have this problem. Does anyone have any suggestions to how to fix this?

    I would really appreciate any help. Thanks a lot!

  • Hello Sindrus, same here. Sure it will be solved quickly. On another hand, Openmap is back frontend (not backend create a listing). ??

    Please upgrade to the latest version. Hopefully the issue will be fixed.

    I have the same problem. I haven’t launched my directory website yet, so I was doing a test last night but users cannot login and I have updated to the latest version. Please help is needed urgently.

    I managed to solve this problem on my end now.

    I contacted Aazztech directly about this, and they thought that there was another plugin that caused the error. They suggested that I deactivate all plugins. If the problem dissappears while all plugins are deactivated (except ‘Directorist’ of course), then you know that the problem is caused by one of your plugins.

    Then activate one plugin at a time to check which one is causing the error.
