    Hi there! ??

Is this issue only happening on Chrome? Also, is this issue recurring on all of your products o just a specific product?

Please respond to this email with a more thorough description of the issue you’d like help with. The more information you can provide about your issue, the better. Please consider taking screenshots too, they are often very helpful to us!

I recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL here. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

    Thanks in advance!

This is not happening to me directly, but to my customers. I’m receiving a lot of complaints.

It happens with all downloads apparently.

I suspect it only happens on Chrome.

    Thank you!

Can’t take screenshots but I have them from my customers, you can access one through this link: https://scontent.fnap3-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/137295670_10223827064565516_2019293693165645518_o.jpg?_nc_cat=104&ccb=2&_nc_sid=1480c5&_nc_ohc=cjjRTbXXceIAX9AtsZT&_nc_ht=scontent.fnap3-1.fna&oh=3e2a3bf79bd054eef5038372b06697a0&oe=602365AD

    Hi there,

Is that zip file hosted on your site or elsewhere altogether? What size is the file and does it contain any malware? Finally, are you seeing that for Chrome only or are you getting the same thing for all browsers?

Zip file can either hosted on Dropbox, AWS or DigitalOcean Spaces and it doesn’t seem to make any difference.

File size doesn’t seem to be a factor. Link doesn’t work even on 4MB files.

    No malwares.

I’ve had that reported for Chrome only.

Hmm, I’m wondering if this is a Chrome only thing as I can’t seem to replicate that on my side. Is your site using HTTPS? I’m asking in light of the following article: https://www.theregister.com/2020/02/07/google_chrome_blocking/

    Hi Rk,

Yes, I’m using HTTPS as you can see in my website.

I guess WooCommerce maybe generates link with HTTP instead of HTTPS?

Is there a way to please check if this is the case? Downloads delivered through other ways seems to work fine (on a webpage, through order page)

    I think I got it.

I’m using Mailjet for delivering emails and for some reasons they are delivering the links through HTTP instead of HTTPS.

I’ve opened a ticket with them and hopefully I’ll solve it soon.

Thanks a lot for your help

They are usually very slow to respond and I need to solve this as fast as possible.

I looked up on Google but nothing seems to come up for this matter.

Do you have any idea how could I solve this problem of Mailjet sending links through http?
